Stowe offers renowned terrain for cross-country skiing & snowshoeing! Enjoy the largest network of groomed terrain in the Northeast at three inter-connected touring centers, the Stowe Recreation Path - a relatively flat, scenic path, and the Inn’s private 120 acres of beautiful off-site trails. In addition, miles and miles of backcountry trails are available for those looking for a different challenge. Or, take a gentle, guided trek from nearby Umiak Outfitters. Rentals for snowshoes and cross-country skis are plentiful in the area, and virtually no prior experience is necessary for snowshoeing!
