Day 1
Slept in late on one of the world’s most comfortable mattresses in our Luxury Suite complete with fireplace and double Jacuzzi. Enjoyed Green Mountain Coffee in bed and read the Stowe Reporter. Shared a delicious breakfast of blueberry pancakes with none other than Vermont maple syrup! Hopped in the car and headed up the Mountain Road to rent ski equipment and beef up our ski wardrobe. Stumbled upon Gentle Giant Sleigh rides and snuggled under blankets as we were whisked across a snowy meadow. Indulged in a fireside dinner in The Whip – a cozy spot right at the Inn! Back to that incredible bed to get a good night’s rest for our morning ski lesson. |

Day 2
Woke up to a winter wonderland! It was a perfect day to head to the mountain for our private ski lesson. Had another hearty breakfast and off we went. Sebastian, a 25-year veteran ski instructor, greeted us at the Ski School and gave us a great 2-hour lesson packed with lots of tips. Awesome ride up the gondola to the Cliff House for a lunch and then on the slopes for a sunny afternoon of skiing. We headed back to the Inn for our late afternoon aromatherapy massages. Had a nice time meeting other guests at the Inn’s weekly wine and cheese reception. Dined out at a quaint bistro in the village and then hit the Rusty Nail. We were happily worn out from an amazing day. |

Day 3
Sadly today we have to head home but not before we had another wonderful breakfast. Picked up some Vermont-made goodies at the shops next to the Inn for Mom & Dad. And then grazed along Route 100 visiting the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Cabot Cheese Factory Annex and landed in ice cream heaven at the world famous Ben & Jerry’s Factory. Our romantic getaway topped off by the flavor of the day: Karamel Sutra! There’s so much more to do. Wish we had more time. Will definitely go back to Stowe!
