Romance Through the Years

In 1940, a young Gerald Ford who was a law student at Yale visited the Green Mountain Inn as a model for Look Magazine. The 5-page photo spread, published March 12, 1940, titled "A New York Girl and Her Yale Boy Friend Spend a Hilarious Holiday on Skis," features photos of President Ford skiing in Stowe and relaxing around the Inn. The photos are proudly displayed at Inn near the Whip Bar & Grill.
