In Stowe, outdoor enthusiasts

only location in which to find certain endangered plant species
and peregrine falcons nesting), to pristine Sterling
Pond (a 2.8 mile hike from the top of the Notch), to beautiful
Bingham and Moss Glen Falls - wildlife abounds. One may
experience the splendor of the natural world simply by partaking
of any number of outdoor activities, from leisurely walks on
the Stowe Recreation Path on the banks of the West Branch
River to more vigorous treks to the summit of Mt. Mansfield.

ECHO at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain in Burlington - a new lake aquarium and science center. Here,
you may go nose to nose with 2,200 live fish, amphibians and
reptiles.
Green Mountain Audubon Center in Huntington - Nestled in the
foothills of the Green Mountains, the 255-acre Green Mountain
Audubon Center offers outstanding opportunities for exploration
and discovery of the natural world of Vermont. Five miles of
trails wind their way through a variety of natural communities
including, northern hardwood forest, hemlock swamp, and the Huntington
